Significance

Bodhi Bhava combines two words: "Bodhi" which signifies supreme knowledge, wisdom, or enlightenment. It also symbolizes the Bodhi Tree, under which Gautam Buddha attained enlightenment. And, the word "Bhava" refers to "Becoming or Turning into".

The Bodhi Tree symbolises two key ideas: First, it represents equipping individuals with wisdom, profound knowledge, and skill elevation, guiding them towards living a fulfilled life and becoming valuable contributors to society and the nation.

Secondly, with its interconnected roots and broad canopy, the Bodhi Tree signifies environmental sustainability and harmonious co-existence with Mother Earth.

The Bodhi Bhava Foundation draws its inspiration from Gautam Buddha’s famous quote, “Appo Deepo Bhava” (Be your own light). Guided by this philosophy, we are committed to empowering children and youths by providing them with quality education and skill-uplifting at various levels.
